Q: blue tooth doesn't work on my iphone5, i won't connect to any devices. is there anything i can do?

i have had an iPhone 4 for a few years and i didn't have any problems with it, i had my iPhone 4 connected to my sony speaker almost every day, however i brought a iPhone 5 second hand and i haven't been able to connect it since. Any ideas on what to do?
