Q: Apple ID password not accepted in iCloud upgrade - no error

I went to the link but I'm afraid I couldn't seem to find anything useful.  Did you want me to repost the problem there?

I have been using iCloud for years but I just upgraded to Photos and was trying to get my pictures uploaded to the cloud and needed to expand my storage agreement.  I have had issues with having to enter my AID password several times for some routine things but it always resolved before in a couple three tries.  I just assumed I made a mistake.  This time I was very careful and tried many many times.
