Q: Unretrievable old apple id password

I have an old apple ID that was my primary email at the time.  A bellsouth.net email that has been absorbed /outsourced so many times that I can no longer access the email, for some reasons security questions are wrong and apple can't verify me, I am not sure why my security questions are wrong and either they have been tampered with, mispelled, or entered wrong on the phone conversations but they fail everytime (3 attempts).  Had to restore an iphone and Apple will not allow me access the numerous purchases on that old apple ID.  I have even tried verifying through some of the hand me down ipads to my children that we could serial number match to the old credit card (this card was pirated and no longer works, but do have the number).  That vetting has failed b/c confirmation keeps being sent to the old apple ID/email address, WHICH NO LONGER WORKS.  Have spent hours now on this problem and it comes down to this I am an honest person who cannot find a way to prove who I am to the password resetting gods, can provide a case number if anybody at apple is interested.

Apple is not here. Apple does not answer questions here.

This is a user to user support forum. Normally the answer is to speak to Apple, but you appear to have done that.

If you unable to provide right security questions to apple need to reset from mail ID. check your mail id for reset password mail or wait for the new rest password mail arrive. If you still can't get the mail than need to send email to apple support community. You can find support mail from website and send your problem in email.

Before sending email i recommended that use same mail ID which you used to registered with apple ID. don't include your personal information like password or credit card information. If they respond your query and ask for any details you can provide them but make sure check email ID again
