You may be able to locate the Mac. Go to: https://www.icloud.com/#find
** Not a good idea to post your serial number on a public forum. I have asked the Apple moderators to delete that.

Unfortunately, I had the Apple Genius in the Glendale Apple Store wipe the MacBook Air clean by reinstalling Mountain Lion OS so that my Apple ID is no longer connected to the unit. That's why I am asking anyone or may be the Apple Company to block the registration of my unit by the person who stole it from my wife's luggage. I tried using the link you sent me but the only units shown in the "find" are the current devices I own right now.

Thanks for your advise.... I called Apple customer service and they told method there is nothing they can do to prevent or block the "new" user of my stolen MacBookAir from registering it with Apple company.
