Try the suggestion by Michael A. N. here > Failed to verify the preflight file. It is not signed by Apple.

Jun 18, 2015 5:54 PM in response to scboyby scboy,An update, out of frustration at the absence of any real answers to this issue I tried reducing the strictness of KeyChain requirements for signed certificates as advised elsewhere.
The posts I have read all recommend you set your preference in KeyChain Access for Certificates to Best Attempt for both OCSP and CRL. But at least for downloading a new item that is free only changing the CRL preference to Best Attempt, from Require if Cert..., worked.
But it would be nice to not have to weaken security, particularly on the App Store given the recent research showing Apps can be used to steal information held by other apps via sandbox vulnerabilities. See Ars Technica article here:
