May 9, 2015 3:36 PM in response to nabil901by FoxFifth,★HelpfulAn iPhone will not pair via Bluetooth to a computer (Mac or Windows) except for personal hotspot and then only if your cellular plan supports it. https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-7722
If you are attempting to use Handoff/Continuity, that does involve Bluetooth but the devices are NOT paired; Bluetooth just needs to be on and the devices in range of each other. The following may help with Handoff/Continuity issues: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204678

Jun 19, 2015 10:33 AM in response to FelipeVby Stephen Drinkard,The reason I want to connect with Bluetooth is to use Keynote Remote on my iPhone 6+ when doing a presentation through my Macbook Pro when wifi is unavailable and I am connected to HDMI monitor. I can't understand why such connectivity would not be fundamental.

Jun 19, 2015 10:41 AM in response to KiltedTimby Stephen Drinkard,Sure confusing to me. I successfully used my iPad 2 using Keynote Remote and paired the iPad 2 through Bluetooth. I will read instructions. Are you saying that there is another way to use iPhone 6 with Keynote Remote without pairing through bluetooth.

Jun 19, 2015 11:07 AM in response to KiltedTimby Stephen Drinkard,Thanks ... resolved linking with computer and Keynote Remote function after scrutinizing the instructions. Discovered I was trying to use the old stand alone Keynote Remote app. Feel a little foolish but the inquiry and response got me going. Thanks.
