Q: trackpad no longer responds to tap to click

I am running OS X 10.10.3. The "tap to click" feature on my trackpad recently stopped working. I think this may have happened after updating the Remote Desktop Client V3.8.4 but I'm not sure exactly when it stopped working.

Mac Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

From you question, I understand that the Tap to click feature is no longer working as expected. If Tap to click is selected in System Preferences > Trackpad and still not functioning, please read over the attached article and use it as a reference for troubleshooting.
