This was installed from new in January 15.
It is very different to the 10.10.8 and I am struggling my way around it.
I am ascertained that iWork cannot copy with reading older documents
Opening, or saving a document come up with this need for a password
I have never used a password on the PC and can only assume there is a default facility in the software
There is an option to SET a password, but no prompt to remove this

Assuming yo have pages what version of Pages do you have?
Is a Pages update available in Mac App Store>Updates?
The new Pages can read old pages but not the other way around.
The default is no password..
Can you post a screen shot of the error message yoare seeg?
