    1. If you are using your own suggestion of Free Space and an EFI Boot on this Mac, it will not work. Your Mac is a preUEFI Mac and does not expose hardware correctly via the EFI layer to Windows.

    2. You need to use BC Assistant and install Windows using legacy BIOS mode for all hardware to work properly.

    3. From System requirements to install Windows on your Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support,

    iMac

    Mac modelWindows 8
    64-bit
    Windows 7
    64-bit
    Windows 7
    32-bit
    Windows Vista
    64-bit
    Windows Vista
    32-bit
    Windows XP
    32-bit
    iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2011)554---
    iMac (27-inch, Mid 2011)554---
    iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2011)554---

You either need Boot Camp Support Software 5.1.5621 for 64-bit Windows or Boot Camp Support Software 4.0.4033 for 32-bit Windows.

Can you post the output of the following Terminal commands?

    diskutil list

    diskutil cs list

sudo gpt -vv -r show /dev/disk0

    sudo fdisk /dev/disk0

The "sudo" commands will prompt for your password, and it will not be echoed back. You may also see a warning about improper use of "sudo" and potential data loss due to "abuse" of the command.

Can you write terminal commands, so i can convert to GPT? Thank you!

P.S. I erase W8 disk and make again from BC!

    P.P.P.S. THIS DOESN'T WORK:

    1. The BOOTCAMP partition should be at the bottom. Select this partition by clicking on it. Ensure it is the highlighted partition then press minus to remove it (in Disk Utility)
    2. Click apply on the bottom right to make the changes.
    3. Now press plus to add a new partition which will likely be names Macintosh HD2
    4. Select this new partition then you can define the settings on the right.
    5. Rename this to BOOTCAMP.
    6. Change the type to ExFAT.
    7. Now click apply on the again to make the changes.

    1. You should not use EFI Boot on your iMac. This is the root cause of you problems.

    2. On an iMac prior to Late 2013, the only method of bootcamp is using a BIOS installation, which requires a Hybrid MBR. Your GPT and Fdisk output are correctly setup by BCA to allow such an installation.

    3. Macs prior to Late2013 models are not UEFI-compliant. As you get closer to 2013 models, they are closer to UEFI, but not fully compliant.

    4. Diskutil list and Fdisk both show Bootcamp as the last entry.

    1. Is your iMac internal Optical drive fully functional?

    2. If you modified BC Info.plist, your iMac does not really support booting from USB, but you are forcing it to boot from USB.

    3. You will need to use your built-in Optical drive to install Windows. An external optical drive will give you black screen.

    4. If your iMac ha an AMD GPU, you may also want to look at Boot Camp: iMac displays a black screen during installation of Windows 7 - Apple Support .
