Q: powermac g4
I have recently purchased a powermac g4 with no disks or anything, just its self. I can not boot into a start up disk by pressing the c key or the option key. The powermac comes with osx 9.2 but the original owner does not know his password and when i click guest, it just says out of range from the monitor. So effectively i have a useless os on it. How can i install a new os on this if i can not boot onto the disk. I am currently unaware of the cpu and gpu specs to tell you. I do not have a osx 10.5 or 10.4 disk to boot from as apple no longer sell them. I am trying to boot into the start up software for the powermac g4 that i have downloaded from the internet.
Thanks
