Q: syncing photos
so when i sync my phone, it use to have a pop up that said "import photos and videos using windows" and i would click on it and it would ask me to Name the file to save as and a box i could check to erase the photos once saved. all of a sudden, when i click on import photos, the box goes away and i have no idea where they are being saved, it doesnt allow me to name the file nor does it allow me to check the box to erase. I have no idea if or where they are being saved. Also, when i have my phone plugged in to sync, on the far left of the screen, it listed items Summary and a list of Apps, Music, Photos, etc... and under summary it had a section On My Device, and listed Music, Videos and use to have a Photos section. It no longer appears. I could easily drag and drop between computer and iphone. When i'm disconnected, i can still view them on my phone, but id like to remove them from my phone and would like to know where they are on my computer. Please help me locate my photos and tell me how i can erase them from my phone without doing it one by one. Appreciate your help.

See Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac or Windows PC - Apple Support and Sync photos to your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch in iTunes - Apple Support.
iTunes itself doesn't provide an automatic service for transferring photos from your device to your computer, but you can import most of the images with the iCloud Control Panel (video files may be excluded) or use Windows Explorer. Once you know that all files in the camera roll have been copied over you can delete via Windows Explorer or on the device.
