Q: I need to use Field Test and wifi scanning capabilities of WiFiFoFum on my ipad.  I have just upgraded fro IOS 6to 8.3.  I do not want to jail break to regain use of these tools.  Where can I do this without a jailbreak?

I Don't want to jail break.  Security IS important.  I will avoid ranting.  Just get down to it.

i used field test years ago on my Nokia cell phone.  Until I upgraded to IOS 8.3 yesterday, I used it on my iPad.  It is there.  All that is missing on the iPad is a dial pad to bring it up.  While jail broken it is simple to add an icon to bring it up on the iPad.  However unless you are willing to suffer loss of security, you do not want to jailbreak.  So I will put that nasty idea on hold until someone addresses this and the other problem..

i also use WiFiFoFum quite a lot.  It places the wireless in the iPad into monitor mode so that you can detect signals too weak to use.  The advantages?  with a reading in dBm you can estimate needed antenna gain to get connected.  Very useful for professional work.  I spent a little time today in the App Store.  I didn't find a substitute.

again.  I DO NOT WANT to break IOS security with a jail break, but I need these two tools.  I hope some one will help me.  Thank you.
