Jun 28, 2015 3:29 PM in response to Eric Rootby barnstormbill1938,They are Microsoft Word documents produced originally on my Windows computer (now scrapped) which I was able to pick up from my Drop Box.
They will open in Drop Box but not in iCloud Drive. Fortunately I have not lost them, but it would be good if I could open them in iCloud Drive.
Thank you for your attention.

Jun 28, 2015 3:35 PM in response to barnstormbill1938by Csound1,★HelpfulHow exactly are you trying to open them and what exactly happens, error messages etc.
I house Word docs on the iCloud drive, they open exactly the same as if they were on the local drive. (Which is expected as they are on the local drive)

Jun 29, 2015 12:21 AM in response to Csound1by barnstormbill1938,I think that is probably the problem as they are not on my local drive. I transferred them directly from Drop Box to iCloud drive. The answer is to somehow transfer copies to my local drive. I will try this. Thank you for your attention.
