Q: how do i get older apps that work on osx 6.8

I go to the app store after purchasing a used MacBook Air 2008 and can,t find any older app that will work on snow leopard 10.6.8

Does any one know where to get apps that will work on my osx 6.8?

Beware of any apps that carry the names of Softonic, Downlite, Zeobit or MacPaw alongside the name of the app. You are likely to get more than you bargained for in terms of Malware or worse. You should only buy apps from the original developer.

There are still many apps that have OS X 10.6.8 as the minimum OS X requirement.
Apple still sells OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard.
What apps do you regularly use?
What apps are you looking for?
