Q: Apple TV (3rd Gen) loses all settings

We have an Apple TV 3rd generation (model A1469) and is running the current OS (7.2 (7512)). Twice now the kids have been using it and it will freeze. Nothing works, no Wi-Fi or any channels. When you go to Settings -> General -> Menu there are no menu items displayed. The only way to get anything back is to perform a factory reset. Once I enter all of our settings for the network, Netflix etc. everything is fine for awhile. I can't figure any pattern that is causing the loss of settings. Anyone else have this issue?

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

From your post I understant that occasionally your Apple TV will become unresponsive, and the only way to fix it is to reset it. Since this is still occuring on random occasions, the next step is to restore your Apple TV. For directions on how to restore, take a look at the article below.
