Jun 30, 2015 12:52 PM in response to Everttby mad_biscuit,Hello all,
So glad I found this thread. I hope this helps someone.
My problem: I created an iCloud calendar in Calendar on my Macbook and imported an .ics calendar. That worked fine but the calendar's events did not show up on my iPhone Calendar app nor on iCloud.com. To be clear, the calendar showed up but not the events. I have been searching for about a day for a solution across forums, articles, etc.
My solution: Can't believe this but what worked for me was logging into iCloud.com, going to iCloud Calendar and UNCHECKING the calendar, then RECHECKING the calendar (see screenshot). The iCloud calendar's events now show up on my
If you don't see the calendar on iCloud.com, try adding a new iCloud calendar on your Macbook's Calendar app and upload your .ics there then try my solution above. Good luck!

Aug 29, 2015 9:34 AM in response to WWLCby brenn2,I uploaded my calendar events from the web directly to my ipad but couldn't do this on my iphone (ir wouldn't work). My uploaded ipad events did not appear on other devices or the icloud. They just would not sync. When I tried editing the events this did the trick as they now appeared on my iphone. I also tried to revert the edit on my ipad but it did not change on the iphone. I found that the ipad event has to be editied in order for it to sync to the iphone. It's beyound my understanding.

Sep 12, 2015 10:15 AM in response to brenn2by Evertt,It’sSeptember again one of the two calendar month of the year! I have tested in
IOS 8.4.1 and my imported .ics file are syncing again! In IOS 8.3 my files were not syncing. But I have used the work around that Chris
Beeson 2 had suggested on page 1 (12-31-2014) and that worked. Every new file
after this work around synced automatically like it would be. So I think it’s more a bug in the icloud connection
than in the agenda application. The work around from Chris:
Go to Settings/iCloud, and turn off
Calendars. When asked, choose to keep the calendars on the iPad. This will
establish all your entries in local calendars, including those from the new
.ics file.Turn Calendars back on in iCloud, and let the iPad sync with iCloud. After
a short while this will sync all your entries, including the new ones, with
iCloud. -
Oct 23, 2015 9:21 AM in response to woottsbj25by hop1967,Same thing here and it does not help even if I change the event. It does not sync. This started to happen recently.

Sep 5, 2016 3:22 AM in response to woottsbj25by mantassam,I have exactly the same issue after updating to El Capitan. Cannot sync .ics file from my Mac with my iPhone. I found a manual workaround but it doesn't help me much since I have like 500 event to sync:
Just change the Calendar from the list assigned to the event and change back (e.g. iCloud (Home) ->iCloud (Work) ->iCloud (Home).I hope Apple will fix this bug sooooon.
Cheers!

Sep 5, 2016 11:29 AM in response to mantassamby Eric Root,Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for improvement. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner.
