has anyone used Parallels website to download Windows OS to their MAC?  Is this a "safe" company/website?

    Yes and Yes

     

    Read their specs.  The more RAM you have the better the performance.

    It has been brilliant up until I installed Sierra on my iMac. Once Sierra had installed i lost all my virtual systems (Windows 10, Fedora, Ubuntu and a VMS system I was trying to develop) The C: drive appears to be locked on my Time Capsule and I've yet to find aa way to find and restore my data. No problems on El Capitan or previous versions of the OS. I was running Parallels Version 12 with the latest updates.
