May 14, 2015 3:15 AM in response to ±kutby OGELTHORPE,If you have a 2015 MBP, you have 90 days of free telephone support with Apple. Give them a call.
Ciao.

May 30, 2015 4:38 PM in response to ±kutby Chewbacca510,My brand new macbook pro retina 2015 is freezing too. When in chrome the cursor disappears and the computer freezes. It turns back on usually but sometimes it does not.

Jul 3, 2015 11:12 AM in response to Chewbacca510by robyk,Same problem for me too. MacBook Pro with Retina display, 2015 - latest patches applied
I have been calling support over 5 times.
We finally formatted the SSD.
Nothing changed. It froze immediately after booting up. 2 minutes later. No app installed.
I can't understand what makes it freeze, but I can see that I am not alone.
So depressing.
Did you guys find any solution since this last post?

Dec 23, 2015 4:43 AM in response to robykby gnulbo,Hi! Same problem with MacBook Air 2015 under Yosemite AND El Capitan. The screen freezes, blacks out when online. After this, the computer "plays dead" and I cannot tell if it is on or off, but I must wait for the battery to empty before restarting the computer on AC by pressing the power key.
I have been using Apple machines for decades and never experienced anything like this before. Can anyone suggest a cure? A cause? Does anyone know about Apple's return policy passed 90 days? (It is my understanding that Apple claims to give a one-year warranty before Apple-Care. Right?) Many thanks for your lights. Gnulbo

Apr 28, 2016 4:18 AM in response to ±kutby melbournemacbookprouser,Exactly the same for me - Macbook Pro less than a week old, freezes minimum twice a day. So much for Apple reliability.
