Q: External monitors

I have an external monitor that worked perfectly until I updated to OS X 10.10.4. Now the monitor just says "No Signal" whenever I turn it on or plug it in. I have it plugged in to one of the thunderbolt display ports on my Macbook Pro (Late 2013)

Disconnect external monitor and make sure it powers on OK.  If so, use a different Display to Computer cable as the one you are using may be bad.

Same issue here.  it is NOT an issue with the display or cable.

the external monitor was working perfectly, then i did the update, now the external monitor is no longer detected.

it is very frustrating that an update designed to "Addresses an issue that prevented some external displays from functioning properly" ends up causing that exact issue to occur.

i may switch over to the public OS beta to see if that fixes the issue.
