Q: Calendar is frozen - message "server error"

My calendar froze when I tried to copy information from email into future date - Now I am frozen on that date with a copy of the email also open. Frozen MESSAGE STATES:  server responded with an error.

How can I unfreeze...did restart etc - please offer resolution that is  simple to understand, for a novice. Thanx

    Greetings caninemiss,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

From your question, I am not sure if you are using the Calendar app on iCloud.com or the Calendar app on your Mac. If your browser or Calendar application has become unresponsive, I would suggest using the keyboard command outlined in the attached article to bring up the Force Quit menu. From here, Force Quit the affected app and then launch it again fresh.

Force an app to close on your Mac - Apple Support

    Cheers,

    Joe
