Q: I cannot use apple music with my iTunes

As I understand from your post, you are trying to add over 48,000 songs to Apple Music. Like iTunes Match, Apple Music has a limit of 25,000 songs in your music library. To learn more about how to add music from your library to your Apple Music library, see the link below.

Jul 5, 2015 4:24 PMby bobbob5482,The problem is though, when I click on iCloud library In the preferences, it searches on my files, and then comes up with a error message, there is no way for me to put a selected playlist and upload it - which is why I said that I can't use Apple Music in its present guise on my Macbook. Which is annoying.
