Apple Music"Apple yesterday updated a Home Sharing support document to note that Home Sharing on iOS devices is only limited to video. Thus far, Home Sharing for music still appears to be available for both Mac and Apple TV. Additionally, while the Music page in iOS' Settings once listed a Home Sharing option prior to iOS 8.4, the option is no longer there in the new Apple Music settings page in iOS 8.4."

Jul 7, 2015 11:25 AM in response to Carolyn Samitby james sfromchandler,Anyone have a 3rd party solution they recommend? I use Home Share all the time to practice playing guitar, I have an iRig that I plug into either my iPhone or iPad so that I can play along and learn songs without having to fill up my phone and iPad with my entire library most of which came from my CD collection. If I had known I would have skipped the update... anyway to roll back?

Jul 14, 2015 7:58 AM in response to anypatsby Hogboy,I really can't figure out some of the stunts Apple has been doing lately.
I have spent several days looking to use Home Sharing on my iPad and have tried every trick listed on google search. Finally, I discover something from Apple Insider advising us that Apple has INTENTIONALLY deleted the Home Sharing function for music. No explanation why, and no explanation why it was such a secret.
And now we get the great news that the same people that took it off are now going to put it back on again.
Shades of iTunes 11 and the sync'ing mess...
