Q: icloud drive folder
Hi
I would like to know if I can choose what folder to be synced from my icloud to my mac or it is not possible?
The reason I have this question is that I recently upgraded my icloud plan to 200G while I have 60G free on my mac HD and it seems that I am not able to use that 200G. Because apparently I only can use icloud space as much as I have free space on my mac, which does not make any sense to me.
MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

Syncing with iCloud will sync the complete library. You cannot select only a few folders to sync.
But you can enable "Optimise Mac Storage" in the Photos > Preferences > iCloud. Then iCloud will only download optimised versions to your Photos library on your Mac and not the originals. With this setting the 60GB should suffice.
Or keep your Photos library on a small portable drive. If you do not have the drive with you, you can still browse the photos in iCloud using the web interface and the Photos.app at https://www.icloud.com/
