Q: editing , saving and printing in Aperture

Hi all,

I am fairly new to apple and aperture and can't get my head aroung it!!

Heres what I'm trying to do....

Edit a batch of photos, save the edited versions and upload to a printing website, all of which I managed with ease on windows!!

After a bit of research It seems that you can't save the edited versions, will it just remain edited unless you "undo" or "revert"?

Will the edits be uploaded with the photos and print as I edited them?

I am photographing a friend wedding next month and will be creating an album online which can be costly so I need to get this right!!

Thanks x

Aperture always stores the original image file you imported,  and then it stores any edits you apply as the sequence of actions to perform to render the final version.  Aperture will show you in the viewer and the browser what the final version will look like.  But the edited image file will be in limbo and only be created when you export it from Aperture or use the Share menu to upload it somewhere.

When you have edited the wedding photos select them in Aperture and use the command "File > Export" to save the final versions to a folder on your Desktop.

Fom there you can upload them to the printing service.
