Jul 9, 2015 3:48 PM in response to rgonzalezdjby Niel,Instead of replacing the itl file, locate the iTunes Media folder and drag that into the open iTunes application window or the Automatically Add to iTunes folder. Playlists and other metadata won't be preserved.

Jul 9, 2015 4:02 PM in response to Nielby rgonzalezdj,Ok, so when I add the folder to the app nothing happens. When I check the Itunes Media folder there is nothing in any of the folders. Is that normal? I have copied it, and it says its copying over 1500 files but there is nothing there when I put it in my mac. The hard drive that I am using is compatible with both windows and mac.

Jul 10, 2015 5:19 PM in response to rgonzalezdjby GordonfromKailua,Hi - I'm new to the Mac but found a program that transfers the whole iTunes music library and playlists from windows to mac, called Snuti (iTunes spelled backwards.) Well worth the $19.
