Q: Can't unsync photos from iPhone
I have an iPhone 5c and recently I've been trying to remove some photos that I had synced from my computer to my phone. I found that I cannot uncheck the folder itself in iTunes; I can only uncheck the box that says "Sync Photos." Doing so gives me a prompt that says, "iTunes will no longer sync photos to the iPhone. Do you want to keep or remove the photos previously synced to your iPhone?" I choose "Remove" and notice none of the synced photos are removed. I sync the iPhone with the same result. I've gone through multiple forum pages but the options are always the same: 1. Deselect the folders, click apply, then sync or 2. Back up phone to computer and wipe everything. Option 1 doesn't work. There's not even a deselect option. Clicking on the folder name does nothing, and the only other option is "choose folder," which doesn't solve the issue either. Option 2 doesn't appeal to me at all because I really don't have excessive time to wait for the wiping/rebooting/restoring process, nor do I like the aspect of possibly losing information (seems to happen when I update the phone's iOS every so often). This issue has persisted over multiple iTunes updates, so it's not a bug from the latest one. Anyone have any suggestions I can try?
