Jul 10, 2015 9:46 AM in response to Limnosby sareevt,How can I do this? I have some music I want to keep as high res AIFF, but others I will need to convert to 256kpbs because there isnt enough room on my ipod to have all of them at their current resolution.

Jul 10, 2015 9:49 AM in response to sareevtby turingtest2,If using the "convert higher bitrate songs to XXXk AAC" feature then, as far as I'm aware, it only applies to songs newly added to the device, so you may be able to add some unconverted media, then change the setting before adding more. There isn't however a way to selectively transcode say one playlist and not another.
I could also be wrong, in which case existing higher bitrate songs would be converted too.

Jul 10, 2015 9:50 AM in response to sareevtby Niel,Prior to syncing, click here and follow the instructions for those songs, and sync only the smaller versions of them. If you choose to convert them during the synchronization process itself, it'll apply to all of the tracks.
