Q: my apple keeps opening smpdr.com when i click on a page

I used the manual file removal process described at your support.apple link that you posted. This helped me too with the smpdr.com "Access Denied" pop up. The culprit on my computer was:

• /System/Library/Frameworks/v.framework

Hope that helps others who are having the same issue!

Yes, I did.

I tried all methods listed on Remove unwanted adware that displays pop-up ads and graphics on your Mac - Apple Support

None of those files can be find in Go to folder.

Looks like this virus steps up its game now.

I tried Adware removal.

Tried to check DNP in Network.

Only thing I didn't do is "Wireless router issues", I haven't figured out how to reset my router yet.

I have more ad redirects, strangely they are antivirus softwares products websites.

I finally found the malware: Primaveral

Go to the folder:

/System/Library/Frameworks/

and

/Library/Application Support

Move the folders "Primaveral" to trash.

Hope it's helpful to others who have the same problem.
