Q: Photos App Question
I am new to Mac. I have copied all of my photos over to the Mac from a Win7 PC (over 250GB). Now, when I try to open Photoshop CS6, it does not recognize the "albums" from Photos. This was a question I asked Apple support before I began my migration and they told me that Photoshop would have an interface like "Mail" where you could select the images that you want to work on. Now they are telling me that I need to expose the images I want to work on by temporarily copying them to the desktop so that Photoshop can detect them. How do most people handle this that use Photoshop?
Thanks Jeff
iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

You can access the Photos Library in the Media Browser:
- In Photoshop CS6 use "File > Open".
- In the File Chooser panel scroll down, until you are seeing Media in the Sidebar. Click the Camera icon to open the Photo Browser.
- Select the Photos Library, click. Have a cup of coffee while you wait for the list to populate. Now search for the Moment or album with your photos.
Frankly, it is much faster to do what Apple Support recommended and to export the photo you want to edit to the Desktop and to open it from there in Photoshop.
