You can't, from Apple Support Communities Use Agreement :

    6. No advertising. Do not use the Site to sell or market your products to others and do not post a URL unless it directly answers a user's question. If any portion of your Submission, including any posted URL, results in any accrual of compensation or benefit to you, you must note this in your post by stating, "I may receive some form of compensation, financial or otherwise, from my recommendation or link." As well, the following are not allowed:

    1. A submission created solely to advertise a book, service, software or some other item for sale.
    2. Any reference, including a link, to a commercial item that is not directly related to a relevant technical support question or answer. For example: "This post created by Super Post Creator."
    3. You may sign your Submissions with information about yourself. However, this should not include a link to a website. An example of an acceptable signature: Justine R. Author, "Apple Lisa Communities: Tips and Tricks"

As these are considered more technical forums rather than chatrooms, it's best not to post a link unless it actually contains the information the original poster is looking for, such as a technical article, instructions on how to, etc. Also, do not post any personal information such as email addresses, etc. as the hosts will remove them. You can link to your own website if it contains relevant information regarding the particular subject being discussed; but, as mentioned, if your site contains advertising or a "pay", "contribute" or "donate" button, you will need to add a disclaimer.

Your Bio page is where Apple has provided space to display what they deem appropriate. Whatever fields they provide when editing your profile are likely the absolute limit of the content thereof. You may have exceeded their sensibilities already - as evidenced by your Homepage going 'nowhere' except " ********** "

I'm  curious. The initials sound the same but I can't find the post. Didn't you have a blog address link in your answers ?

I checked and found it - and reported his post (to remove his link) as it was posted some time after he was advised not to do that.

I copied a video I took with my iPhone onto my PC, can't I copy it back onto my iPhone??

    And it was edited already.....

Thank you. HKQ seems like a helpful person who was unaware of the rules. We live, we learn, we go on to make another mistake. It's all part of the learning process.

I checked out his site and he has apps to download which - if they are for iOS (I have no idea if they are or not as there is no indication except the URL shows that it is some Google site and I am not about to download anything from a site I do not know) - means you'd have to jailbreak your device before being able to install them.

Now that's not good. There is another method called vshare that allows you to install internet apps without the jailbreak and is just as dangerous.

Discussion of either is forbidden in the Forum and from the number of people that have bricked their iPad I strongly recommend people don't use either and only download apps from the App Store

As I said, I have no idea what the system requirements are for those apps, but since he posts here and has Apple device(s), I thought it prudent to have his link removed; besides, a link to another site is only supposed to be posted if it relates directly to the subject of the thread (and it appears that he was linking to it in all of his posts).

You are correct on all points. I was merely elaborating on the dangers of jailbreaking/vshare. SInce there is nothing we can do after the fact I do my best to persuade them not to be foolish to attempt either.
