Q: ical not syncing since ios 8 update

My ical icloud sync worked fine before ios 8 update. For years.

Now, no calendar changes migrate between my iphone and my other devices. These problems began with the ios 8 update.

I am using iMac w/Maverick, iPad 3 with ios 8.1, iPhone 5s with ios 8.1.

Changes made on iMac migrate to iPad, changes made on iPad migrate to iMac. Only the iphone ical does not receive changes from other devices, nor do changes made on iphone ical migrate to iMac or iPad.

I have read all of the referenced (and also outdated) Apple support documents on ical issues.

I have created a new Apple ID.

I have reset my devices.

I have restored my devices.

Apple needs to address this bug.

iPhone 5s, iOS 8.1, iMac w/Mavericks, iPad 3 w/ios 8.1

I don't see any 'sign out' option on my iPhone 4, only a delete account, which I'm not doing. Everything worked again after a recent update from the iPad, now it's stopped syncing with ical again. No settings turning on or off makes any difference. All ical/icloud settings are on. No I'm not using Yosemite, as it all worked fine before. Only the laptop and the iPhone sync properly, but not the iPad. Madness.

I've had same problem as I said, earlier....but have just played again....I changed the time to sync from various options from 3 months back to 6months back and I think this is now all the same....so FOR THE TIME BEING.....it is working, until the next time something upsets it.

ps, I've also had another update with my iPad mini successful, by checking the events are updating 3 or 6 months back, a change seems to prompt and changing a setting to updating every 5 mins. I've now lost where in the menus this is, but it worked.

Thanks, this worked perfectly. Now I'll just wait for this bug to be fixed in the next update...!

I'm having the same issue, but just with my iPhone 6 iOS 9.0.2. My iPad also running 902 syncs just fine. Rather annoying to have to constantly switch Calendar off and back on to get things to sync! In OSX you can type Apple+R to manually ay refresh events. Would REALLY be nice to have a similar button on the mobile devices. And, yes, I've tried signing out and back in....and I've tried changing the 'keep appointments' 3 months and 6 months. Nothing works with any consistency.

I would think you're right, my computer is not updated to Yosmeite yet, but my husband's ipad syncs with the same computer fine, it's just my ipad that won't.   Same exact kind of ipad as mine.
