Q: Airport Utility Changes IP in Port Forwarding
I've been trying to forward a port in Airport Utility. I have a windows machine, running a virtual machine. The IP address of the virtual machine is 10.0.2.15. When I type that IP into the port forwarding area and update the router, the router automatically changes that IP address to 10.0.1.15. I can't for the life of my figure out WHY it is doing that or HOW to save it correctly. Anyone else experiencing this?

The AirPort can only forward an IP address to a device that is using the same default range that the AirPort is using for other network devices.
You are either going to have to change the IP address of the machine from 10.0.2.15 to 10.0.1.15........since the AirPort router is using the 10.0.1.x range as its default........or.......change the default range of the AirPort router from 10.0.1.x to 10.0.2.x........in which case all devices on the network will get a 10.0.2.x IP address......and you can then set up a "reserved" IP address of 10.0.2.15 for the machine.
