Q: Images show up in question marks instead of the real image on my Macbook pro.

Images show up in question marks instead of the real image on my Macbook pro. After the recent update, Images continually show up as question marks which has become annoying. So I was wondering if there was any way to fix this?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

maybe. click once on the image in question and choose "get into" then open with whatever you used to open images with. also, repair permissions, maybe zap pram. , hold down Apple, Option, P and R keys while rebooting, hold them for 3 bongs then let go and let computer start up. May fix it, maybe not, or try

resetting the SMU.  Shut down computer,. plug in power adapter, on the left side of keyboard, press Shift+option,  control and power keys at the same time,

then hold 'em for a count of 10, then release 'em. press power button to restart computer

hopefully this helps you, if not, there's always tomorrow

If the Develop menu isn't showing in the Safari menu bar, select

Safari Preferences... Advanced Show Develop menu in menu bar

    Then uncheck

              Develop Disable Images

You can then disable the menu if you wish.
