Q: My iPod randomly stopped connecting to my wifi and each time I try to reconnect a page from apple.com pops up and says some weird line of letters and stuff.

I was on my iPod and connected to wifi. My iPod died and I put it on my dock to charge it. The next thing I know, it is charged and will not connect to my home wifi. I have reset my settings and I have reset network settings as well. Everytime I try to log back into my wifi, a page from apple.com popped up and it is a blank page with a long line of letters and symbols. It looks like some sort of command, but I cannot get my iPod to connect. What do I do?

iPod touch (4th generation), iOS 6.1.6

This just started tonight with my wife's iPhone 4S v. 6.1.3   Tried to connect to home wifi, but every time I select my network a new screen pops up with the address http://www.apple.com with a Log In option, but an almost blank screen.  In the window below it displays the following text " <HTML><HEAD><TITLE>Success</TITLE><HEAD><BODY>Success</BODY></HTML>".   There is nothing else to click on in the window and no way to "log in" to anything.  The only option is to press the 'cancel' button, which connects me back to our Sprint connection and drops.  Tried all of the resetting network, forgetting network, rebooting phone, rebooting router bit.  It always does the same thing.  My phone and my daughter's iPod's connect just fine with the network, but have newer iOS.

MY boyfriend and I are experiencing the same thing with both our iPod 4. It was working fine this morning and now we can't connect to wifi and the apple log in page pops up as well.

WE also have other Apple devices that connect just fine, only the iPod 4s are having the problem

we have tried resetting and all that stuff but nothing is working...

guess apple did a hotfix that effect people negatively?

Hope it gets fixed soon :/

Same thing happened here! I have not yet found a solution but it seems to be common among iOS 6.1.6

Hey everyone! This should fix it:

    Open SETTINGS

Go to Wi-Fi and click on the little blue circle with an arrow

    turn Auto-Join ON

    turn Auto-Login OFF

    Use your iPod like normal

I have just started having the same problem.

Was using Google Drive on iPad with no issues. Exited Google Drive and put iPad down for a few minutes to do something on my computer. Picked it up again and it had lost connection. Normally when this happens, I just tap my network in WiFi settings and it connects again, but this time the wifi symbol came up in the top left corner for about half a second before I got a blank page with some html at the top ( <HTML><HEAD><TITLE>Success</TITLE><HEAD><BODY>Success</BODY></HTML>, same as someone else had above), and then an error message over the top of it saying "Error Opening Page: Hotspot login cannot open the page because it is not connected to the internet". The page is the same apple Log In page that shows up when I have to connect to the network at uni (where I always have to enter my user name and password) but my home internet usually just connects automatically when I turn it on.

    What I've tried so far:

    1. Turning iPad off and on again

    2. Turning my routers off and on again (unplugging them for 15 minutes and then plugging back in)

    3. I've tried telling the iPad to forget the network. I've also tried resetting all network settings. No difference.

    4. Other wireless devices including iPod, Nintendo 3DS, mobile phone all connect fine, it's just the iPad that has suddenly and randomly decided not to.

Has anyone found any solutions to this? I won't be at uni for a while and I have no other access to a wireless network to test it on another connection.

Also I tried using the Apple email support option, but they just sent me an email with a link, telling me to click the link from my device. Given my device can't connect to the internet (wifi model only) and therefore can't access email, this was pretty unhelpful.
