Q: Help! My iPod cannot connect to internet!

A friend of mine just started having this same issue on his iPod today. Just found this researching for him. Seems like most old iPods are having it. I'm sure the only thing you all can do at this point is sit back and wait for Apple to do something about it....

Same thing happened with me. It was working fine and then it died and I plugged it in and it wouldn't work after that :/

Here's what worked for me. I posted a question on yahoo answers and someone found a solution, so im sharing it ^^

"Go to SETTINGS next to your networks name there's a blue arrow click on that ... now

turn ON auto-join and

turn OFF auto-log in

it should work!!"

It worked for my brother - My Ipod 4th Gen doesn't have an option to auto login though???? Why would that be?

Agreed, if you have skipped any updates make sure your Ipod firmware is updated or else you won't see both of the auto login and auto join options

This problem was caused by a programming error at Apple's end that has now been corrected - the problem should no longer arise and there is no further need for the workarounds.
