Q: App to replace "Find my Friends" for iphone 4?

I want to set up a way to find my daughter in case she is lost (or loses her phone).  She is an adult with Aspergers living in a large city, so this is a safety issue for her.  Her phone is an iphone 4 with a 7.1.2 operating system (up to date).  Apparantly, one needs an iOS 8.0 now to be part of Find my Friends.  Is there another app we could use?

iPhone 4, iOS 7.1.2

If you know her AppleID and password, you can use Find My iPhone.  Enable it in the iCloud setting on her phone.

You can then locate her phone by going to icloud.com on any computer, or use the Find My iPhone app on your iPhone or iPad.

(sorry - failure to read Mallcom's response)

If you have her AppleID & Password you can simply log into FindMyiPhone using her info, either the app or on iCloud.

But no, you don't need 8 to be a part of it.

I have iOS 8 but my 2 daughters are on iOS 7 and FindMyFriend's works fine.
