Q: how do i download photos from icloud onto pc

do i just cut and paste the photos from my icloud into a new folder on my pc? each photo has a little lock symbol next to it so i wasnt sure if it was that easy to save the photos.

If you are using Windows: If you have a compatible version of Windows you could look into iCloud. You can find that here: Download iCloud for Windows - Apple Support

If you have a Mac: And it supports iCloud, you can enable it in System Preferences.

You can also select which photos you want by logging into icloud.com and using the Photos app there. Once the photos are selected you can download them to your computer.
