Q: PowerMac G5 PRAM/ Open Firmware Reset Trouble

I am using a Apple USB keyboard but, I have not done a PMU reset, I'll go do that then try a PRAM reset.

I just did the SMU reset, then did the PRAM reset but still got the black screen, also i figured out I don't have the DP 2Ghz PCI-X, I have the DP 2Ghz PCI-X 2, since it has the PMU button and the mobo has 2004 on it.

I'll go pull out that PRAM battery and the peripherals and power, my new PRAM battery should come tomorrow also, should I pull out the Radeon 9800XT also?

I held the power button, put in the new PRAM battery, and changed the RAM config but that black screen still popped up

I think I'm slowly starting to figure out whats wrong with it, I've noticed while in open firmware and trying to unlock the boot manager the system gets slower and slower as i type in commands/ trying to guess a password. Ive also noticed it gets random "Invalid Memory Errors" so i think it has something to do with its RAM, it currently has 4x512MB of PC3200-30331-B1 ECC RAM, I'm going to order some non ECC RAM and test it, Ill post here how it goes.

I have bad news, the new RAM came today and I still get a black screen when I try to do the OF password reset, and the Invalid Memory Access error sometimes appears in OF still also, I'm going to retry cloning my tiger installer to its HDD to see if it can boot it or not.

I just tried to do the hair dryer trick and still got the same results, and from some other tests I tried (making a bootable Tiger drive, a bootable AHT drive, etc) I have come to the conclusion that the Logic Board has failed, I'll sometime try to find a new one, thank you for all your help.
