Q: SMC required frequently

Memory activity showing high use of memory by User: Root

I'm not able to disable it. I have even tried step given by apple support

Please Help ...

I brought Apple Mac Book Pro 13 inch (2012) in Nov'14 and have visited Apple Care centre 4 times.

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), iOS 8

Should be moved to MacBook Pro forum

New to Mac? SMC is used for certain things, not this.

Maybe your system doesn't have enough memory (not upgradeable in 2014?) or you installed something affecting the system.

I would run Etrecheck and look closely and post results.
