If you get an error message that your Apple TV can't connect to the server, first check to make sure you have a good internet connection.

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201836If your Apple TV doesn't repsond when you try to restart it, hold down the Menu and Down buttons on your Apple Remote for 6 seconds, then release when the indicator light on your Apple TV starts blinking. Or unplug your Apple TV, wait 3 seconds, and plug it back in.
