Q: Issue with Safari post 10.10.4 update
I have just updated to 10.10.4; my Safari was quite slow with the last update and I was hoping this one would solve the issue.
Nope, it's even worst. As an example Safari (8.0.7) does not open Facebook anymore (can't establish a secure connection).
(Mail seems pretty messed up as well; my Exchange account does not synchronise anymore; but I won't try to solve this now)
I don't have any extensions installed on Safari
I clear website history, deleted the library cache (basically reset Safari)
If I start in recovery mode, and select "get help online", the version of Safari that opens is 8.0.5 and this one works perfectly fine!
I have read lots of people are having this issue and the answer is usually "use Chrome".
I do not want to use Chrome!
Is there any way to roll back to Safari 8.0.5?
Any other suggestions?
Shall I visit the Geniuses?
Thank you!
MacBook Air (11-inch Mid 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.4), Safari 8.0.7

Drats!
Do you have anti virus software installed or any third party Mac cleaning utilities by chance?
