Q: Photos importation doesn't work very well
Hi,
I have a problem with the Photos app on my Retina-MacBook Pro.
Since a few days when I want to import one or some photos into the Photos app they appear only in the 'Albums -> All photos' tab and not in the main 'Photos' tab. I don't know why this behavior occurs...
I tried to import with a drag&drop process and also by importing the photos directly from my camera (Lumix). Nothing works... I have this problem since one week approximately. The photos appear only in the 'All photos' tab.
Another problem (which is correlated with the previous one I think): I cannot hide a photo using the contextual menu (right click). If I hide a photo, this stays visible and I cannot acceded to the Hidden Photo folder because the Photos app thinks that there is no hidden photos ! It is strange... Maybe it is a problem with the last update ?
Thank in advance for your help !
Best regards

First of all, restart your computer. After that, try repairing your library. Open the app with Command and Option keys pressed.
More info here (works for Photos as well): iPhoto 6 and later: Rebuilding the iPhoto library - Apple Support
Hope this helps!
