Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, a feature for printing is missing. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.
Get help resolving printer issues on your Mac - Apple Support
These steps may resolve printing issues that have no other clear cause.
- Open the Printers & Scanners pane of System Preferences, then select your printer and click the minus (-) button to remove it from the list.
- Follow the steps in the previous section to add your printer.
- If the issue persists, reset the printing system,

Jul 22, 2015 10:13 AM in response to mario49by spacechick,Thanks. I have already tried removing and re-adding the printer and that did not seem to solve the issue. I have not tried resetting the printing system, so I'll give that a try.
