Jul 20, 2015 4:07 PM in response to Loner Tby littledragon294,Hi Loner T, Thank you for your reply. Yes, Windows 10 is a lean install using BC Assistant. I have the same problem with Windows 8.1 on my Macbook. I install on EFI Boot. How to fix? Thank you again.

Jul 20, 2015 5:49 PM in response to littledragon294by Loner T,Your Mac does not support EFI Boot. You need to use BCA and let it choose the installation, without any interruptions till you see the screen for choosing a Windows destination partition.

Jul 20, 2015 6:06 PM in response to Loner Tby littledragon294,Yes. But if I select Windows instead of EFI Boot when I choose the installation, It has a problem "No Bootable Device - Insert Boot Disc and press any key". I can not continue the installation. How to fix it? Or how to install Windows 10 on my Macbook in the right way? Thank you.

Jul 20, 2015 8:15 PM in response to Loner Tby littledragon294,I use USB to install windows. Yes, This is an USB 2.0. How to choose BIOS Boot instead of EFI Boot when installing?
-
Jul 20, 2015 8:19 PM in response to littledragon294by Loner T,On your Mac, BCA will only choose BIOS, unless you interrupt the flow and use Alt/Option key to make changes. If you get a GPT/MBR error, it can be easily fixed. Do not use Alt/Option key once BCA starts the reboot, till you get to the Partition selection screen for the designated Windows partition. You will need to format the BC partition only. Do not choose or select any other partition, otherwise you will lose data.

Jul 20, 2015 8:25 PM in response to Loner Tby littledragon294,Thank you for your reply. I choose BIOS, and the installation lead to error "No Bootable Disc, ..." , so I should choose EFI Boot to continue the installation (and windows lead to error about no sound). If I don't use Alt key, Macbook will boot to OS X. I am so crazy with this problem.

Jul 20, 2015 8:33 PM in response to littledragon294by Loner T,Your NVRAM variables are confusing BCA. Please run the following two procedures and try again. Do not interrupt the BCA booting with Alt/Option. Select only the Install Windows option and wait till you get to teh partition selection screen.
