Q: flashing screen during safe mode
When I boot into safe mode, my screen flickers and flashes a bunch.
While in safe mode, going to launchpad causes some weird screen drawing - like the images are coming down from the top to the bottom of the screen.
Is this normal behaviour?

My MBAir does the same thing in Safe Mode but fine when booted to OS X.
