Jul 21, 2015 9:18 PM in response to meatburritoby ChrisJ4203,After selecting the device, then you should be able to select Summary or other links on the sidebar. Select Music, and then select what you want to sync. The sync button should appear along the bottom of the screen.

Jul 21, 2015 9:47 PM in response to gail from maineby meatburrito,I finally got it to sync, I had to click a button called "apply". But I noticed that only 1,158 songs are syncing. I have 1,179 songs in my ITunes library.

Jul 21, 2015 9:48 PM in response to meatburritoby gail from maine,Are they all downloaded to your library? Do you see any indicators next to any of them that would prevent them from syncing? Do you have "Sync Only Checked" songs selected? If you do, turn it off.
Cheers,

Jul 21, 2015 9:53 PM in response to gail from maineby meatburrito,I did select "Sync Only Checked". I'll turn that off and then re-sync?

Jul 21, 2015 10:00 PM in response to gail from maineby meatburrito,ok, I turned off "sync only checked" and re-synced. That got me 8 more songs. So now I have 1,166 songs on my iPod out of the 1,179 songs that I have iTunes. I purchased some songs a long time ago under a different Apple ID. Could that be the cause? How would I sync those songs? You guys have been a great help, by the way!

Jul 21, 2015 10:50 PM in response to meatburritoby gail from maine,Yes - that would be what is probably causing the issue. In iTunes on your computer, sign in that old Apple ID, then go to the "Store" menu option to Authorize the computer for that Apple ID. That should resolve the issue.
