Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
I'm not too sure what you mean about new instructions on deleting downloaded iTunes songs from your iPhone, since the operation is the same. To delete songs that you've downloaded from either your previous purchases on your iPhone, or have purchased from iTunes on your iPhone, please follow the steps below.
Delete music and audiobooks
Remove songs, albums, or audiobooks from the Music app by swiping to the left and tapping delete.
Delete music, movies, podcasts, and other content from your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch - Apple Support
Take care.

I spent 2700 on a computer that works like a PC. I get pinwheels over and over again.
Apple sends out upgrades and provides no documentation on what has changed. No documentation that iMatch is now called iCloud Music but in iTunes store it's still called ******* iMatch.
Seriously. This latest upgrade was handled so poorly it's reprehensible.
I'm in no mood to sit another hour on the phone with customer support when they tell me the wrong information.
