Q: The cord of my battery

The cord of my battery now has a split in it. What to do? Will Apple replace it?

How old is the cord of your battery? It would have a 1-year warranty like the computer. If it is out of warranty, you would need to purchase a new one. If it is in warranty, then have Apple examine it and they will determine if they will replace it.

Is this the same power adapter you replaced about a year or so ago?

Another older discussion about your MacBook/Pro implied you were

needing to replace an original? adapter. If you did, then you could be

    looking to buy another one.

Though I've asked a host to move your post to the MB/Pro ASC, I've

tried a reply here whilst it's in the 12-inch MacBook (2015) section.

    Good luck!

Yes. I dont understand why this has happen again. A couple of weeks ago I felt the charger getting very hot which was odd. This week I looked at the cord and I noticed it started to get thin. Today I look at it and it has a split. The cord of the chargers are not great quality.
