I understand you are having trouble connecting to your Wi-Fi network with your Mac mini. Have you ever been able to connect with this computer? The first thing I would suggest is to connect via a wired ethernet cable first. Then follow the steps outlined in this resource for Wi-Fi troubleshooting:

Has the Mini been disassembled about the time the problem started?
Do you mean that you see no wifi networks?
Did it work before?
Try resetting the SMC and NVRAM/PRAM

What exactly happens when yo try to connect? Do you get a message?
What happens when yo followed the links that judysings provided?
