Q: Photos System Library very confusing

Does the author of this page how this works? I'm totally confused regarding photo libraries and my iPhone and MacBook have inconsistent photo streams and I don't know how to fix it and get them back in sync. Also, it took me ages to discover how get my suddenly lost photo streams back. Obscure stuff. Apple can do better, TMO.

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

1 - there is no author of this page - this is a forum of Photos users helping other Photos users

2 - Te Photos system library is very simple - it is your remarry library and the only one that can share photos to iCloud Photo Library, the system desktop and screen saver and other primary operations - it is set in the Photos preferences

3 - for specific issue you need to tell us what you have (software and versions) and syphons and error messages of what is happening

4 - remember we can not see you so you have to share details to get help  - not opinions or editorials
